LONG RIDES

obligation. Try it, you'll like it.
As
always, Windtraining will be progressive with early season workouts focusing
on form & technique with sub threshold work and building into more sustained
efforts at threshold and above. What's different this year?
The start time - we are starting at 6:30 instead on 7:00 so we can all get
home earlier. The pricing structure is different - there will be no
sessions (acclimation / winter). I am teaching 26 classes from the
first week in December until DST returns in the middle of March. Buy
1/2 the classes! - attend ANY 13 classes for only $180 - Get 1 FREE.
Buy them all! - attend all 26 classes but pay only $330 - that's like
only paying for 22. Save $60 over the 1/2 Class price.
You can also select from 5 - 12 class at $15.00 each and buy just the number
of classes you need. What's the same? We will be again
alternating drill and skill oriented workouts with serious bike fitness
workouts. Come an check it out!

A special thank you to Debbie Alexander and Nem Pavlovic - both of whom have agreed to make periodic special appearances as guest instructors at my windtraining classes this winter. Debbie regularly cleans up in her age group locally and has placed highly in her age group in National competitions and in Ironman races. Anyone who has ever trained with Debbie knows that she never, ever cuts a workout short. Nem is a member of the Serbian National Team and an Olympic hopeful.

Track Workout of the Week!
Warm - up
Run 1 – 2
miles easy, gradually increasing speed as you warm up.
Drills about 50m –
kick backs x 2, high knees x 2, skips x 2
Strides – easy run to light but
very fast sprint at end x 6 (3 each way)
Main Set: First mile repeats of the new year!!!!
